On behalf of a leading industrial multinational, we are seeking to appoint an Operations Transformation Director to be based near Munich.
The successful candidate will lead a variety of operational topics including cost-optimization projects, cycle time improvements, capital management and operational footprint discussions. Reporting to the Head of Transformation, the Operations Transformation Director will work closely with the CEO, COO and CTO of the business (Travel <10%).

Key Responsibilities:
Provides program management of overall transformation effort, working in conjunction with responsible line leaders and the corporate staff
Works with CEO, Senior Leaders, Workstream Leads and Initiative Leaders to define project architecture, translating aspirations into initiatives and projects
Supports target setting and own accepting any revisions or changes to the targets or the plans that support achieving the targets
Provides on-going performance management of workstream sponsors, leads and initiative owners on the successful execution of transformation
Develops and leads a highly capable Transformation Office that provides timely visibility into the progress and delivers on the agreed transformation plan.
Supports a successful restructuring and transformation, ensuring a “clean sheet”, best-in-class approach to all functions
Keeps Senior Leaders informed of progress and issues
Presents transformation updates during key stakeholder meetings
Prepares talking points for Senior Leaders for Board updates and internal communications
Provides senior leaders with coaching, insights and challenge on the tactics and pathways they need to adopt to meet their ambitious targets
Key Requirements
Tier-1 consulting background
Extensive experience in operational topics (e.g., operations/line management, continuous improvement, supply chain management, procurement, or lean services)
Strong networking and influencing skills, including sensitivity and change management awareness
Senior line management experience
Experienced in driving change
Fluency in English & German
